"The SpeedTest...helped break me in with two of the industries most respected casting directors but it also helped them sell me straight to producers for two series for HBO. I also used the footage to get me in the door at one of the larger boutique agencies whom I signed with for theatrical rep shortly after." - Byron Field

Introducing SpeedTest
When Studios want to see if you are right for a series or big budget film, they do A Screen Test, with professional lighting and sound.
If you don't have great looking footage that really showcases what you're capable of, if your reel is dated or your roles speak of a type that is not right for this project, it's unlikely Casting (or the Studio) will give you the chance to prove yourself.
Whether you need to break a type, reinforce a type, or prove you're compelling enough for starring roles, the SpeedTest will give you and your representation a tool that will help you compete and prove you are right.
- Why a SpeedTest (Screen Test)?
-
- To expand or Showcase your abilities/range
- Have you changed your look or lost weight?
- Show your humorous or dark side
- To Re-Brand yourself
- To showcase how GREAT you can look on camera
- To keep the focus on YOU--not the series lead (like the pieces on your reel)
